Nomad Outdoor Cushion Tuareg Blue 36X60

Lightweight, with essential elements and suitable for both indoor and outdoor use, the Nomad collection is a design by Alejandra Gandía-Blasco Lloret inspired by the minimum of belongings with which nomadic peoples travel. The idea is that with the combination of its different elements and models, ephemeral or mutant environments can be designed capable of providing that feeling of home and rest that nomadic peoples achieve, using only fabrics, rugs and cushions. The fabric of this cushion, which is reminiscent of wool sweaters or scarves, is part of a series of indigenous and traditional wefts found in different areas of India by the GAN team, during the research that allowed us to test how recycled PET fibers behaved on a manual loom. In addition, Nomad is therefore a tribute to local craftsmanship but made with sustainable fibres suitable for outdoor use, from post-consumer plastic waste. The Nomad Tuareg Blue cushion has a construction pattern reminiscent of knitting, in beige and blue. The other five models in the collection feature other colors and patterns with checkered, triangle, herringbone, small flower, or geometric designs.
