For the Diamond Green-Grey square cushion, we use highly flexible and soft recycled PET fibers, which is why it's an item that can be placed both indoors and outdoors. Although they originate from plastic materials, these fibers are surprisingly pleasant to the touch and can be perfectly used on the manual looms where we create our kilims. This innovative, sustainable production process gives plastic waste a second life, transforming it into designs as spectacular as those in the Diamond collection, signed by Charlotte Lancelot. The geometric pattern in green and grey tones on the Diamond Green-Grey square cushion is inspired by the faceted faces of a diamond, aiming to mimic its varying degrees of opacity and transparency, just like the rugs in this collection. The designer has achieved this illusory effect through a meticulous selection of green and grey shades that create this fictional visual perception. The Diamond Green-Grey square cushion is also available in a 50x30 cm format, as well as in the Nude-Petrol, Blue-Green, Pink-Yellow, and Orange-Wine colorways. Diamond: A Kilim Cushion from Our Collection Kilim is a traditional artisanal method of rug making that exclusively uses threads, tightly interweaving the weft on a manual loom without knotting. This process results in a lightweight fabric with a pile-less texture, similar to upholstery. Furthermore, it's a technique that offers great design flexibility, a peculiarity that we at GAN thoroughly explore to create rugs with high-impact patterns and details.
