Alejandra Gandía-Blasco, the brand's creative director, aimed to capture the very essence of nomadism: the ability to build a domestic environment starting from a few textile elements such as fabrics, rugs, and cushions. The concept is based on the idea that movement and flexibility are opposed to sedentarism, thus requiring furnishing accessories that are visually light but structurally capable of defining an environment, whether it be an outdoor lounge or an informal relaxation corner.
Production Technique and Sustainable Materials
In line with Gan's commitment to sustainability, Nomad rugs and accessories are made entirely of 100% recycled PET fibers. The technique used is hand-loom, which allows for a resistant, versatile, and pleasant-to-the-touch product, perfect for use both indoors and, especially, outdoors. Using recycled plastic not only fulfills an ecological mission but also ensures simplified maintenance and excellent resistance to atmospheric agents.
